Manziana fu abitata fin da tempi remoti, databili al periodo Villanoviano ed etrusco. Fondata da carbonai fiorentini e umbri già dal medioevo fu chiamata Santa Pupa ed inseguito nel 1500, Manziana.Ovviamente sono ancora visibili i retaggi delle origini toscane, difatti nel vero dialetto manzianese sono presenti parole quali ventresca (pancetta), citto, (ragazzo)ecc...
I piatti tipici di Manziana sono i lombrichi (i pici toscani) e l'acquacotta. In molti casali antichi sono spesso stati trovati gli stemmi rappresentanti il Giglio di Firenze!
Manziana ha dato i natali a diversi personaggi dello spettacolo, quali Monica Vitti e il Mago Binarelli.
Gianni Rodari era solito soggiornare a Manziana nella sua casa di campagna, a lui fu intitolata la scuola elementare del paese.

Gli Archi di Boccalupo non sono null'altro che un'antico acquedotto, e questo è il panorama che offre Manziana dalla sua piazza principale.
Oltre l'acquedotto si può notare il lago di Bracciano che dista solamente 7 km dal paese, quando il tempo consente una maggiore visibilità è possibile individuare addirittura la Cupola di S. Pietro a Roma.
Arches Boccalupo are nothing but an ancient aqueduct, and thi is the view from Manziana from its main square.Beyond the aqueduct can be seen on Lake Bracciano which is only 7 km from the village, when the weather allows greater visibility you can even see the dome of St. Peter's in Rome.

La fotografia qui a fianco rappresenta il Ponte del diavolo, un ponte di epoca romana che risale al 100 A.C. , ed è un paradigma formidabile per quanto concerne la costruzione ad arco.
Purtroppo non è molto visibile perchè quasi del tutto sommerso dalla vegetazione. Narra la legenda che il Demonio passando su questo ponte vi lasciò la sua impronta, ed effettivamente vi è una forma di un piede gigantesco!Sarà appartenuto al Diavolo?!

Il Bosco Macchia Grande, bosco a livello europeo
Il Bosco Macchia Grande, chiamato dai manzianesi "la mamma", è attraversato da un'antichissima strada romana, ed il suo cuore nasconde tombe etrusche ed il famoso Ponte del Diavolo.
Il Bosco è fornito di area picnic (zona tavoli e barbecues attrezzati). All'interno si può trovare il "Adveture Park" ed un punto vendita di prodotti tipici.
Lungo la strada si possono trovare fiori e piante protette, e non dimentichiamo mai che questo bosco, oltre ad essere stato un rifugio durante la guerra per molti manzianesi, fu anche lo scenario di numerosi film e pubblicità, tra cui la Grande Guerra (Sordi e Gasmann), il Marchese del Grillo (Sordi), Pinocchio(di Benigni), il remake della Freccia Nera (M. Stella.
The forest Macchia Grande, called by Manzianesi "Mon", is crossed by an ancient Roman road, and its heart hidden etruscan tombs and the famous Devil's Bridge .The Forest area is equipped with picnic (tables and barbecues area equipped). L' antica Fontana della piazza T. Tittoni è attribuibile al Vignola ed alla sua scuola, rappresenta il centro del paese e la vita dei manzianesi.

Quadroni è una frazione di Manziana arroccata sul Monte dell' Eremo, un vulcano spento e quindi particolarmente verde e fertile.
Rimasto praticamente intatto conserva la sua storia di borghetto medievale, costruito in tufo e pietra Manziana, una pietra con sfumature rosee ormai introvabile.
